Grand Rapids neighbors from the north End at Plainfield Township are joining hands in a day of caring for the environment on Saturday, May 19. "Hands Across the City: Greening the North Quarter" hopes to attract more than 500 participants from around the city to ready community gardens for planting, make improvements in city parks, spruce up the Creston and Cheshire business districts, and make repairs to residents' homes.

SpeakEZ opened this past February and has subtle hints at the Prohibition Era throughout the pub. They have an assortment of craft beers, tasty infusions, and classic cocktails. For the "foodies" out there, your taste buds will thank you when you try one of the featured sandwiches, signature sauces, or pasta dishes. The Unwind will take place on Thursday, May 31, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Don't forget to bring plenty of business cards to hand out, as you will meet plenty of new people. Make your summer a GRAND SLAM and sign up for the 2012 GRYP
Coed Summer Softball Team as a league member or as a sub! This year we have
reserved 1 team on the East Grand Rapids League and 2 on the Rec Sports league.
There will be approximately 12 people on each team this year. When registering
please select which league you would like to participate in. If the league is
already full and you would still like to participate please sign up on the
waiting list. If there are enough people on the waiting list we will open up
another team through the Rec Sports league.
